2019 Bottle Rockets & Kids's Section /
The BOTTLE ROCKETS Children’s Entertainment Section during BBQ, Bands & Bottle Rockets on the Bosque is comprised primarily of non-profit groups, who set up carnival-style games for children of all ages to play throughout the day. The Bottle Rockets booth vary and will be detailed out as they are approved.
In general, the section consists of carnival games with prizes, face painting, a photo booth, a dunking booth, a water slide, multiple bounce houses, an obstacle course, caricatures, snow-cones, cotton candy, sucker pulls, hammer strikes, and additional game booths hosted by local organizations and businesses are available for unlimited play with purchase of $10 wristband. Early Bird opportunities provide the opportunity to purchase the bracelets for $5 in advance. Bracelets must be purchased for all children regardless of age (including infants).
Erath County Non-Profit Organizations only may apply
Must have your own unique kid friendly game (THERE WILL BE NO DUPLICATE BOOTHS) or be willing to run a bounce house booth.
Must have enough volunteers to run booth independently
Game must fit under area no larger than 10x10 space (Sun Canopy Required)
Booth Must be able to remain set up and running throughout duration of event
Exhibitors will be responsible for and required to have their own game equipment, prizes, sun canopy for shade and if applicable tables and chairs
If electricity is required, you must provide your own generator
Please Note: We reserve the right to deny/reject booths for questionable/distasteful item, behavior, etc.
BENEFIT OF PARTICIPATION: A portion of the proceeds generated from the purchase of the bracelets for play in the bottle rockets section will be equally divided amongst the non-profit organizations participating and running booths. NO PROCEEDS WILL BE GIVEN TO ORGANIZATIONS DUE TO CANCELLATION, FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH GUIDELINES, NO SHOW OR WEATHER.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: UNTIL SLOTS ARE FILLED
REGISTRATION FORMS: Registration forms are accepted and spaces are assigned BASED ON APPLICATION APPROVAL AND AVAILABILITY; therefore if you are making special requests or to ensure your game is not a duplicate and secure a spot, apply as soon as possible.
NOTIFICATION: You will receive your APPROVAL or DENIAL for participation once the committee has had a chance to review all submissions and assess the feasibility and confirm non-duplication based on dates of submission, etc. If your booth is approved, information regarding assigned location, set up/break down times, and any other additional instructions following correspondence of your acceptance.
